RIPARIAN CHORUS is a public art installation and artist's book that celebrate community-river relationships along the Lower Passaic River. It is the result of her 2025-26 Artist-in-Residence fellowship on the Lower Passaic River. This project is produced in partnership with the Lower Passaic River Urban Waters Federal Partnership, New York-New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program, Newark Arts and Newark City Parks Foundation; administered by the Hudson River Foundation; and funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
There are 46 hand-dyed and sewn RIPARIAN CHORUS silk flags installaed along in Riverfront Park.
The RIPARIAN CHORUS artist's book is a 10-page risograph-printed zine that helps to tell the narrative of the flags, and includes quotes from community coversations over the past year.
RIPARIAN CHOURS will be on view through Fall 2026.
